It was a great festival when the Båramoterminal in Skillingaryd opened June 5. Additional 1000 people had gathered to participate in the activity. The inauguration was conducted by the City Council's Maria Larsson.

The inauguration coincided with Vaggeryds Municipality's annual celebration of "Hjuldagen".

The Båramoterminal will handle containers with a daily arriving and departing train. Initially a whole trains of peat will shipped to Uppsala.

Industrispår AB carried out the construction of the railway facilities, covering 4.5 km track, eight switches, and three buffer stops.
